LANDSCAPES OF JAMES REYNOLDS
I forgot I will be out of town on July 4th and will not have internet access. So I will post the winning names on July 5th.
I was glad to hear that some of you were able to buy Jim’s book while they were still available. Also, for those of you who have reported problems trying to post your name, I have added your names to the drawing.
I now have 5 copies of Jim’s book, and 60+ people wanting to buy a copy. It looks like it might be several years before any more will be available again. To be fair, I’m going to have a drawing. Jim intended the book for artists and because most of the inquiries are young ‘emerging’ artists, I want the book to be affordable. So I am not raising the price. I’ve averaged out the shipping costs so the total price per book will be $110. I want to give everyone time to respond so I will draw names and post them on July 4th. If you still want a copy of Jim’s book, please comment below, leaving your name and email address. Then check back here July 4th.
Please enter my name in the drawing for the book. Mr. Reynolds’ work is a huge influence on me and I would dearly love to own and study from the Landscapes book.

I have followed Mr. Reynolds work for years and only wished I had the opportunity to talk and the landscape with him. He truely knew the use light and value in his work, having his book would mean I would be able to have his feelings on painting and wisdom with me always.

Please enter my name in the drawing. I own his book “TRAILDUST, Cowboys, Cattle and Country The Art of James Reynolds” and have practically worn the book out looking at the paintings over and over again. Being a landscape painter myself, I would love to own “The Landscapes of James Reynolds” also. I could learn so much from him.

Dear Sheila, I would love to own a copy of The Landscapes of James Reynolds. I
am a retired veterinarian so devote most of my time to improving art skills. I
draw well but am lacking in the expertise that James was so great at - light,
color and texture. I believe I could learn alot from him thru his book. I have
been taking lessons from Elin Pendleton who recom-mended my purchase these
books.
Thank You, Ann \”Sue\” Rogers

Mr Reynolds legacy is not just the work he produced but his ability to influence and teach others thru his work.
Rest assured should my name be drawn the book will end up in the hands of an artist and shared with others.
Many Thanks…Mary

My first 2 posts did not go through and I did want to add that I was a working artist and also a teacher. I am always trying to improve my own work and would also pass information on to students as well. I really enjoyed James Reynolds work and would love to read his personal tips and insights into his work.
